Ushers
Department: Front of House
Reports to: Front of House Manager
Position Classification: Hourly
Position Summary: Assist patrons with ticketing and seating issues, as well as other customer service issues related to the Center for the Arts venues.
Responsibilities: Ushers are responsible for assisting customers and ensuring that their Center for the Arts experience is pleasant and hassle-free. Ushers attend to escorting, directing, or assisting patrons to their seats. Ushers also respond to patron questions regarding the theater and its events, assist in the resolution of the occasional ticket or seating problem, and, if necessary, actively participate in the emergency evacuation of the theater.
Scheduling is flexible. Usher positions become available from time to time, and we like to have résumés on file for immediate consideration when a position does become available.
